Original summaries

RoadAlert News publishes original summaries based on available public information. We do not copy news articles or source text. Where a source informs a report, we name it and link to it when available.

Accuracy and updates

Crash information evolves. Reports may be incomplete when first published and are updated as reliable information becomes available. Each report carries a status — developing, updated, or archived — and a last-updated date. Anyone can request a correction.

Neutral, public-safety language

  • We avoid sensational or exploitative headlines.
  • We do not determine or imply fault. Investigators, insurers, and courts do that.
  • We do not state that injuries occurred unless a source confirms it.
  • We avoid naming victims unless official public sources clearly include that information and there is a strong public-interest reason. In general, we do not name victims.

Facts vs. guidance

We clearly separate factual incident reports from general safety guidance. Guide content (police reports, insurance steps, after-crash checklists) is educational and general — it is not advice for any specific situation.
