Sponsor disclosure
Trust is the whole point of a road-safety publication. This page explains, plainly, how any advertising or sponsorship on RoadAlert News works and the lines we will not cross.
Current status
RoadAlert News is reader-focused and currently carries no paid sponsors on its accident reports or city hubs. If and when we add sponsors, this page and the relevant pages will say so clearly.
How we label paid content
- Any sponsored placement is marked with a visible “Sponsor” or “Advertisement” label.
- Sponsored messages are visually separated from news and never styled to look like an accident alert or report.
- Affiliate links (if used) are disclosed on the page where they appear.
Editorial independence
Advertising and sponsorship have no influence over our journalism. Specifically, sponsors do not choose which incidents we cover, cannot edit or remove a report, and have no role in our corrections process. News decisions are made independently under our editorial policy.
What we will not do
- Sell placement inside accident reports or present ads as news.
- Run deceptive ad formats (fake alerts, misleading buttons, pop-unders).
- Accept advertising that exploits a specific crash, victim, or grieving family.
Please note: If you believe a paid placement on this site is not clearly labeled or appears to influence coverage, please tell us through the contact page — we take it seriously and will fix it.
