What RoadAlert News tracks

RoadAlert News organizes publicly available information about traffic crashes, road incidents, dangerous corridors, and road safety resources into city-level hubs. For each covered city we publish short, original incident summaries, an approximate incident map, dangerous road overviews, police report guidance, insurance documentation steps, and emergency resource listings.

Where data will come from

As real data feeds are connected, reports will draw on sources such as:

  • Official police crash reports and public records
  • State DOT traffic alerts and 511 incident feeds
  • Public traffic incident data feeds
  • Fire and EMS public information releases
  • Local government reports and open data portals
  • Publicly available news reports (referenced, never copied)

Current status: sample data

Sample data: This is an MVP preview. All incident reports, statistics, and resources shown are clearly-labeled sample placeholder data.

Every incident, statistic, pin, and resource listing in this preview is placeholder content created to demonstrate the platform. Nothing on this preview describes a real crash.

Limits of accident data

  • Real reports may be incomplete, delayed, or updated as investigations progress.
  • Map locations are approximate and based on available report information.
  • Injury information is only stated when a source confirms it.
  • RoadAlert News does not determine fault. Fault is a matter for investigators, insurers, and courts.
  • RoadAlert News does not provide legal, medical, or insurance advice.

Verify with official sources
